Return & Cancellation Policy

At Jeengar, each piece is handcrafted with generations of skill and sent on a journey from our artisans' hands to yours. We hope it becomes a cherished companion. However, we understand that sometimes a piece may not be the perfect fit for your story.

Our policy is designed to be clear, fair, and transparent. Please take a moment to read through the details below.

1. Cancellations

We understand that plans can change. You may cancel your order at any point before it reaches your doorstep.

  • Before Shipping: Cancellations made before the order has been dispatched from our workshop are completely free of charge.

  • After Shipping: If you choose to cancel your order after it has been shipped but before it is delivered, a logistics fee of ₹300.00 will be charged to cover the two-way shipping costs incurred.

2. Returns & The Logistics Fee

You have 7 days from the date of delivery to request a return.

Understanding the Return Fee:
A flat logistics fee of ₹300.00 applies to all returns for a refund. This fee is not a penalty; it is a contribution that helps cover the actual costs of the initial delivery from our workshop to you, as well as the insured return shipping back to us.

Items from The Jeengar Archive collection (Clearance Sale) are considered final sale and are not eligible for return.

Items that are personalised are also final sale items and are not eligible for return.

3. Exchanges (The Jeengar Credit Option)

While we do not offer direct one-to-one exchanges, we provide a more flexible alternative through store credit.

  • Opt for a Coupon: If you wish to exchange your item for a different design or color, you may opt to receive your refund in the form of a Jeengar Store Credit Coupon.

  • The Benefit: If you choose a coupon instead of a bank refund, we will waive the ₹300.00 logistics fee. You will receive a code for the full value of your original purchase to use on our website.

  • Bank Refunds: If you prefer a refund to your original payment method, the ₹300.00 logistics fee will be deducted from the total amount.

4. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

  1. Apply: Log into your account and initiate a return request within 7 days of delivery Or send us email on mail@jeengar.com

  2. Choose Your Path: Indicate whether you prefer a Bank Refund (minus the ₹300 fee) or a Jeengar Store Credit Coupon (Full value, no fee).

  3. Receive Instructions: Our team will review your request and reply within 48 hours with detailed pickup instructions.

  4. Pack Your Item: Please repack the item in its original packaging, including all tags, to ensure it is protected on its journey back to our workshop.

5. Conditions for Return

For a return to be accepted, the item must be in its original, pristine condition: unused, unworn, and undamaged, with all original tags and packaging intact.

What is not eligible for return:

  • Sizing: To ensure a perfect fit, we provide detailed dimensions on every product page. We kindly ask that you review these before purchase. Returns based on size preferences are not eligible.

  • The Nature of Natural Leather: Handcrafted full-grain leather features celebrated characteristics. Minor variations in color, subtle wrinkles, and unique grain marks are not defects; they are the authentic signature of your one-of-a-kind piece. These are not eligible grounds for return.

6. Damaged or Incorrect Items

We take the utmost care in crafting and packing your order. However, if you receive a defective or incorrect item, please contact us at mail@jeengar.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and a photo of the issue. We will resolve this for you immediately at no additional cost.
