Welcome to Jeengar. We are a community built on a 500-year legacy of Rajasthani craftsmanship. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, jeengar.com (the "Site"), and the products and services we offer.

By accessing or using our Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. This document is an agreement between you ("the user," "you") and Jeengar ("the brand," "we," "us"). Please read it carefully.

1. General Use & Eligibility

By using our Site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence. You agree to use our Site for lawful purposes only and not for any fraudulent or illegal activity.

2. Our Products & Orders

Jeengar offers handcrafted leather and alternative goods. We have made every effort to display the colors and images of our products as accurately as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will be accurate.

Handcrafted Nature: You acknowledge that our products are handcrafted by artisans. As such, each piece is unique and may have slight variations in color, texture, and detail. These are not considered defects but are the signature of the artisan and a testament to the product's authentic origin.
Order Acceptance: We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person or per order.
Pricing: Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue a product without notice.

3. Payment

We use a secure third-party payment processor (e.g., Shopify Payments) to handle all transactions. By providing your payment information, you represent and warrant that you have the legal right to use the payment method provided. All payment information is encrypted and handled securely.

4. Shipping

All orders are processed and shipped from our workshop in Rajasthan. Our shipping policies, including processing times and costs, are outlined in our Shipping Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

5. Returns & Refunds

Our policy for returns and refunds is detailed in our Return & Refund Policy. Please review it to understand the conditions and procedures for returning an item. Items from certain collections, such as The Jeengar Archive, are considered final sale as noted on their product pages.

6. Intellectual Property

The Jeengar brand and its original content, including our logo, designs, photographs, product imagery, text, graphics, and the "Poetic Realism" aesthetic (collectively, "Content"), are the sole and exclusive property of Jeengar. Our Content is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not use, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our Content without our express written permission.

7. User Accounts

If you create an account on our Site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Site for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
Transmit any worms, viruses, or any code of a destructive nature.
"Scrape," "crawl," or "spider" any page of the Site.

THE SITE AND THE PRODUCTS OFFERED ON THE SITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

IN NO CASE SHALL JEENGAR, OUR DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR ARTISANS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INJURY, LOSS, CLAIM, OR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Jeengar and our affiliates from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third-party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms of Service.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, with jurisdiction in the state of Rajasthan.
