The Mandore Sling is made by Pradeep, who believes a plain bag is the hardest to make well. With no embossing to draw the eye, the cut of the leather, the line of the saddle-stitch and the set of the full flap all have to be perfect. Pradeep selects clean hides of our sun-tanned leather and builds each Mandore by hand so it folds true and softens beautifully with use. Your purchase pays Pradeep in full, upfront, and helps carry a 500-year craft forward.
Named for Mandore — the ancient capital whose gardens and red-stone cenotaphs hold the memory of Marwar long before Jodhpur rose. The Mandore Sling is a quiet keeper of the everyday, made to outlast trends and gather stories.
Its full flap folds over the body like a protective cover, fastening clean and simple over a roomy compartment. Crafted from sun-tanned certified real leather that deepens to a honeyed patina, lined in sturdy canvas, with an adjustable crossbody strap. No ornament, nothing to distract — just leather, made well, by hand.

The raw hides are worked and laid out to cure by hand. It is the slow way, and the reason the leather softens with age instead of cracking.
