The Artisan

The Kashida Collection is a true collaboration — a marriage of strength and artistry. The supple leather form of each bag is shaped by Ravi, an artisan with a deep understanding of leather's potential. The hand embroidery is then worked thread by thread in the Kashidakari tradition, each motif — Padmini's Tree of Life, Hadi's mandala, Moomal's desert star, Sanyogita's joyful blooms and Mira's poetry of flowers — taking shape stitch by stitch on the leather.

No two bags are ever identical: the hand-stitched motifs carry the small, beautiful variations that only human hands can make. Your purchase directly supports Ravi's family workshop and keeps a 500-year-old craft tradition alive.

The Kashida Collection is our tribute to the women of Rajasthani legend and to Kashidakari, the heritage hand-embroidery worked thread by thread onto supple Certified Real Leather.

One silhouette, five hand-embroidered motifs - each named for a legendary woman. Choose the story you carry:
