The Kashida Collection is a true collaboration — a marriage of strength and artistry. The supple leather form of each bag is shaped by Ravi, an artisan with a deep understanding of leather's potential. The hand embroidery is then worked thread by thread in the Kashidakari tradition, each motif — Padmini's Tree of Life, Hadi's mandala, Moomal's desert star, Sanyogita's joyful blooms and Mira's poetry of flowers — taking shape stitch by stitch on the leather. No two bags are ever identical: the hand-stitched motifs carry the small, beautiful variations that only human hands can make. Your purchase directly supports Ravi's family workshop and keeps a 500-year-old craft tradition alive.
The Kashida Collection is our tribute to the women of Rajasthani legend and to Kashidakari, the heritage hand-embroidery worked thread by thread onto supple Certified Real Leather.
One silhouette, five hand-embroidered motifs - each named for a legendary woman. Choose the story you carry:

Each is hand-embroidered by master artisan Ravi onto Certified Real Leather, certified by the Hohenstein Institute, Germany. Offered in two tones — Cherry and Dark Olive.

How your bag is made
The hides are tanned with babul bark, then worked and laid out to cure by hand. It is the slow way, and the reason the leather softens with age instead of cracking.
